GFS (Girly Fun Stuff) is for girls of primary and secondary school age to come together, have fun, learn about Jesus and experience a loving Christian community. GFS is an established Anglican ministry that focuses on a framework of Worship, Study, Work and Play. All leaders of this program have a Working With Children check and have completed all safe ministry requirements. You can read our Safe Ministry Policy by clicking the button at the top of the page.

What to expect:

We have lots of fun playing games, learning life skills, building and strengthening friendships, learning about God, doing craft and cooking. We also support people serving God in other places in the world. Friends are welcome to join us too!

There are two GFS sessions that run every Tuesday during the school term at St Alfred's:

  • Prep to Grade 4 meets in the late afternoon: 5:00–6:30pm
  • Grade 5 and upwards meet in the evening: 6:45–8:15pm

There is a small $15 cost per term, per girl.
