Countries Where Christians are Persecuted the Most

According to Christian organization Open Doors, approximately 100 million Christians are persecuted around the world. The ten countries most guilty are: North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Pakistan, Iran and Yemen. North Korea is ranked #1 on the list for the 12th straight time. An estimated 50,000 to 70,000 Christians live in
political prison camps. Those caught with a Bible face a long prison sentence or death. http://worldwatchlist.org.au

This Sunday we will be praying for our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted. In Australia we are free to worship and we should never take this privilege for granted.
