Louisa’s Story
I was fortunate to grow up in a Christian family. My parents were great examples of a life lived following God and being generous to others. There were key moments in my own growth and development where I took on a relationship with God for myself. One particularly striking passage for me is in the gospel of John chapter 8 and verses 66-69:
"From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
I am of course a work in progress as God continues to work in me, but I trust his steadfast promises.
