Hope's Story
I gave my life to Christ when I was four years old, but my faith was cemented during late high school. During my early teen years, I was diagnosed with a series of chronic illnesses and really struggled through life. In all my anger and disappointment, God was always there. And in all my tantrums and dismissals of Him, He was graciously patient with me and slowly but surely revealed truths about Himself, my nature and His promises. I started to take my faith more seriously when I was about 17 and got baptised at St Alfreds in 2025. There are so many wonderful truths about God that need to be shared, and I got a front row seat at this during my time on the committee at Monash Christian Union. This is what I want to see as Highschool Outreach Coordinator: the wonderful truths of God being shared with the local youth and his Spirit working in their hearts, just like how God revealed those to me and changed me.
