Killing Canaanites: The Issue of War in Joshua
What do we make of the killing of the Canaanites by Joshua and the Israelites? Is it moral? How do we worship a God who commands such brutality? A disturbing topic with no easy answers. Peter MacPherson will lead a seminar on this issue on Wed Mar 16 7.30-9.00pm at St Alfred's. The seminar will be based on Chris Wright’s book The God I Don’t Understand: Reflections on Tough Questions of Faith. Suitable for Growth Groups or individuals from St Alfred's or St Luke's.
