Preparing Well: Funeral Information Evening

The opening introduction to every Anglican funeral service reads: ‘We face the certainty of our own death...’

Every time we hear this read this out, it should strike us that this is something we all need to prepare well for.

On Wednesday 8 October at 7:30pm at St Alfred’s, we want to invite you to join us for a free one-hour seminar designed to help you think about preparing for death from a Christian perspective, to equip you to be able to plan a Christian funeral, and have conversations with your family about your wishes.

James Clarke from Bethel Funerals (one of our local funeral directors) will also be speaking on the night, giving insight into some of the practicalities of preparing for a funeral, and will be available to answer any questions you may have.
