Ian Hore-Lacy is the Director of Public Communications for the World Nuclear Association [WNA] and a member of the St Alfred's church community. In the first week of the headline grabbing event Ian fielded more than 130 media interviews and continues to provide communications and updates through the WNA.

Ian was formerly employed in the mining industry by CRA (now Rio Tinto) and is the author of several books on mining, environment and related issues. Please visit http://www.world-nuclear.org/ for up-to-date infromation about the situation in Fukushima.

Ian spoke at the St Alfred's Men's Breakfast to address the complexities surrounding the Fukushima Daiishi Nuclear Power Plant affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. He provided thought-provoking insights to the question of whether God could be found in Fukushima and stimulated the audience to consider questions about God's nature, the place of suffering and the agency of humanity.
