SundaysAbout 450 people attend St Alfred's across our two Sunday services. Both congregations span a range of ages and backgrounds. We dress in all styles, most people come 'casual'. The person who greets you at the entrance can help with any questions about Sunday School groups for kids or any other questions you may have. During services we usually have a time when we greet one another with a friendly 'hello'. We also take up a financial offering, but there is no obligation to give so just pass the bag along. If you need to talk or pray with someone please talk to the service leader or one of the staff team. These men and women have been trained to listen and encourage and will be eager to help and to pray with you. They will be available at the front of the church or in the Prayer Room after each worship service. From visiting to membershipLots of people visit St Alfred's all through the year. We have regular Welcome and Information Gatherings run by our Senior Minister at which there are talks about life at St Alfred's and how to get involved. Attendees are also invited to formalise their desire to join St Alfred's by signing a Membership Covenant. If you'd like to find out more about becoming a member, please contact us. |
